The iMac is a dektop computer all-in-one that was first introduced by Macintosh in 1998. Since then there have been four makes of the iMac. (In order as the above pictures: iMac G3, iMac G4, iMac G5, and the iMac Intel Based). Current iMacs run from around $1,299 - $1,799. The iMac coputer contains all of its parts within the display of the computer. The iMac has received continuous praise. Some examples are being labeled as "industry altering success" by Forbe's Magazine and being called the "must have desktop" by CNET.
